Spring: All the plants are reaching out to the rain to quench their thirst after being in the sweltering sun. The rain brings life, reviving the tired garden.
Purple Resplendent: The violet and purple flowers are in bloom, creating a burst of energy from the primary colours (red and blue).

The Blue Moon: I was thinking of Chang-E, the goddess of the moon in Chinese Mythology, as I drew this. Chang-E was depressed over being separated from her husband, Hou Yi, as well as living alone in destitution.
